There were some connectivity problems between 11:30 and 11:45 today due to router maintenance at the server farm. The interruptions were slightly more widespread than expected — sorry about that. Everything is running smoothly again now.
"Window of Maintenance: 11:30 AM - 11:45 AM EST
Actual (if any) Down Time: Minimum to select network portions.
Affected Service Types: IP network traffic may experience brief
interruption on parts of network during router maintenance."
At approximately 3:30pm EST today our network provider suffered a "network anomaly" that took all of their servers offline for 40 minutes. As of 4:10pm EST, the server is reachable again. No email should have bounced during the downtime, and all server operations are functioning normally. In the event of a future downtime, please be sure to visit our support site http://www.fictco.info/ which will always direct you to a live status page.
UPDATE:
The cause of the network outage was a fatal OS bug in our network provider's core Cisco network infrastructure. Previously planned IOS upgrades for Monday, June 20th will correct this bug.
